A full and explosive show from SCI on their 6th New Year's run in the SF Bay Area. What a night! The boys sure tell a story in the setlist, like the "Looking Glass" opener and Nershi's "Across the Universe" ("nothing's gonna change my world"), and playing the "Round The Wheel" album in order in it's entirety during the 2nd Set was awesome. I figured I'd better catch a show before Nershi moves on, so this was the night I chose. I thought the band kicked ass right from the start.The venue, on the other hand, sucked. I was really impressed with everything played, especially Across The Universe, Restless Wind, This Must Be The Place and the smoking version of Stevie Wonder's I Wish. I pre-purchased the sbd downloads for both nights. This audience source is very nice.
